About Us
Hello, my name is Donnie Simmons. I am originally from North Carolina, but today I make my home in stunning Northern Michigan. I retired from the Air Force after serving 23 years, and now I am exploring the world through the lens, capturing both the beauty of the outdoors and the character of the spaces around us.
From the forest to the lakeshore, my camera sees the wonder in every vista, connecting with intriguing people and places. I also use my FAA-certified drone piloting skills to provide a unique perspective and to expand my visual storytelling.
Working alongside me is my wife, Karyn, a Michigan native who shares a passion for photography and creativity. While my work often focuses on natural landscapes and true-to-life representation, Karyn brings a more close-up, artistic perspective—finding beauty in details and creating images with a more expressive touch. Together, we offer a balanced approach that blends clarity, creativity, and storytelling.
In addition to our landscape and lifestyle work, we offer professional real estate photography, helping homeowners and agents present properties in their best light.
